Legacy iOS Kit can also be used to save on-board SHSH blobs of 32-bit and 64-bit iOS devices.
Notes
- Supported devices: iPhone 4, iPod touch 4, all A5(X)/A6(X) devices, all 64-bit (A7/A8/A9/A10/A11) devices
- Not supported devices: iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, iPod touch 3
- Dumping blobs is supported for all iOS versions 4.0 and newer.
- For 64-bit devices that support it, better go to SSH Ramdisk instead.
- The steps below requires the device to be in Normal mode, jailbroken, and with OpenSSH installed.
- For iOS 16+ devices, you will also need the following for Cryptex:
libkrw01.1.2,libkrw0-tfp01.1.2,libx8a4-1,x8A4 - You may install these from my repo: https://lukezgd.github.io/x8a4
- You may also install debs from here: https://github.com/Cryptiiiic/x8A4/releases
- For iOS 16+ devices, you will also need the following for Cryptex:
Usage
- Prepare your iOS device by jailbreaking the device. 32-bit devices may follow the steps in the Restore to 32-bit device page for entering kDFU mode.
- For not jailbroken methods, you may also go to the DFU Advanced Menu section of Troubleshooting
- Start the script and select Save SHSH Blobs -> Onboard Blobs
- (32-bit devices only) Download and select the IPSW of your current iOS version
- Follow the given instructions. If the process is successful, valid SHSH blobs of your current iOS version will be saved.
- If blob dumping fails for some reason, try using another USB port/cable/hub.
